Demonstration of the “TGC-SFG-4X-3RIB A32 G SS-4×30 GF” gripper seamlessly picks and places various stone fruits. In the demonstration the gripper is mounted onto a Delta style parallel kinmatiscs robot arm, and actuated by a ø20 stroke 30 mm air cylinder with 2 bar pressure. The auto-compliance capability of the gripper is highlighted by two slow motion clips. And its shows how accurate actuator operation timing can easily be optimized to achieve perfect morphing of the gripper 4 soft fingers around non-uniform objects of different sizes.
